Buck Meltsner is a smart, charming teenage con artist who first comes to Odyssey working for Mr. Skint, but eventually refuses to go along with hurting others and starts trying to change. He is tempted to lie and worries he will slip back into his old life, but he wants to do better and seems to have a crush on Jules Kendall.
